Alicia + Dillon were married at the Red Agave Resort in Sedona, Arizona.

These two fun music loving souls wanted a wedding that was intimate and intentional, so they decided to have a micro-wedding. This size and scope of the boho themed wedding with some edge was perfect for them, it allowed for a relaxed environment where everyone could focus in on one another and celebrating the couple.

Red Agave Resort Wedding Venue

Alicia and Dillon got married at the intimate and unique Red Agave Adventure Resort in Sedona, Arizona. This resort is situated in the southern area of Sedona and has the most breathtaking views of Bell Rock and Cathedral Rock, two of the most well known formations in Sedona. We couldn’t think of a more perfect location for Alicia and Dillon’s micro wedding, with the brick red chalets and the access to Coconino National forest and hiking trails right off the back of the property this resort fit their day perfectly.

We were originally contacted by Alicia and Dillon because they were referred to us by their amazing planning team Jane in the Woods, they told us that once they saw our work they loved everything about our films but specifically how we use unique and cinematic music intertwined with audio from  the day to make every film fit each couple. Music is a huge part of their love story and for them the right music in a wedding film makes or brakes the entire thing, no pressure! There were touches of musical elements through out the day from the personalized record “guestbook”, to the disco balls catching the sun and reflecting the most beautiful sparkling light, to the perfectly curated playlists for the getting ready, ceremony, reception and evening the emo nite after party! We knew when we had our FaceTime call with these two that we were going to absolutely love their day but honestly when we met them and their family in person we were blown away.

There was so much love from such a small group of people, the day was truly a celebration for the two of them. Their family and dogs were very involved in every aspect of the day which we instantly related to because family is everything to us. Alicia’s brother even officiated the wedding and because of this the ceremony was not at all stuffy or too serious, he kept everyone laughing.. and crying throughout the entire ceremony. The funky details carefully curated and planned by the bride were the perfect fit to the Sedona culture, her custom made boots and boho gown fit right in. These two have a playful type of love with a depth that we only could get a glimpse of from their vows. Their love for one another is a quiet kind so when they read their personalized vows to one another in front of the red rock we got a really good inside look of what their relationship and life together will look like.
